Hazel Atlas Golden Wheat Salad Set: Bowl, Cruets, Original Utensils, and Salt & Pepper Shakers

These is a vintage set of the Hazel Atlas Golden Wheat salad bowl, cruet, and salt and pepper shakers with the original serving spoon and fork.

Design details: The set is made of clear glass with frosted white accents and the iconic gold wheat pattern. The two cruets were intended for oil and vinegar and have their original stoppers.

Production era: These pieces were produced in the U.S. and popular during the 1950s and 1960s. It is hard to find a complete set like this in such good condition. The salad bowl is large; it measures 9 3/4 inches in diameter. The bowl stands 5 1/3 inches tall. The salt and pepper shakers are 3 1/4 inches tall. The shaker tops show some wear (pictured). I have cleaned then gently but not scrubbed them. There are food-safe paints and sealers if the new owner would like to address the light wear in the burnished silver or gold tops or replace them entirely. This is the only issue with the set; please see all the photos to appreciate the condition of all the pieces.

Please note, hand washing is recommended for the glass pieces of the set to preserve the gold accents and frosted design. This is a marvelous midcentury serving set with no loss of gold in the gold patterns or rim; there are no scratches and no chips, rubs, cracks, or crazing. It displays beautifully.
