Stangl Pottery Green Draft Horse Miniature Animal Ceramic Figurine

$125.00

Add a rare and charming touch to your collection with this authentic Stangl Pottery Draft Horse figurine. Crafted in Flemington, New Jersey, during the mid-20th century (circa 1941–1969), this piece is a standout example of Stangl’s renowned animal figurine line. The figurine features a stylized, chunky art deco-inspired design that captures the powerful build of a draft horse. It is finished in a beautiful, high-gloss green glaze that highlights the subtle curves and musculature of the form.

Overall: Excellent vintage condition with uniform crazing.
Integrity: No chips or cracks but has one flaw from the manufacturing process on inside on bottom (pictured). Not visible from the side.
Finish: This piece exhibits light, uniform crazing (fine hairline lines in the glaze) throughout. This is a very common and expected characteristic for early Stangl pottery of this age and does not affect the structural integrity of the ceramic. Under the glaze there is one area of slightly darker color on the ceramic's right side (pictured). These pieces were handpainted and feature such authentic variations.
