1987 First Model Swatch Twin Phone Memphis Postmodern Style -- Candy Colors

Very excited to present this vintage model year 1987 Swatch Twin Phone, known for its iconic Memphis design. Key features include its postmodern styling, often referred to as the "First Model" candy model (marked #8910) due to its pink, aqua, and gray color scheme; it features a speaker on the phone base to allow two people to use the phone simultaneously. This is a unique collectible item from the 1980s in good-to-very-good used vintage condition. It has its handset coiled cord in the original grey. It does not have the phone jack cord. The interior of the phone is more of a bubblegum pink. The number area has a number written in the slot (pictured). The outer part of the phone has faded to a salmon pink. This color variance can be seen in the close-up photos. The base is aqua and has some of the same fading on one end (pictured). The black rubber feet are intact. The handset is grey and pink with grey polka dots, none of which are scuffed or missing. The push buttons are mint green and are in very good condition. The numbers on the buttons are not worn. The jack inserts are all intact, tight, and free of damage. The hang-up spring toggle is bright red and has no issues. The phone is stamped with the date and has the original manufacturer's sticker (pictured). The phone has been thoroughly cleaned and polished with a special Lucite polish to protect it. There are no significant scuffs, marks, or scratches.

The phone has been tested and returns dial tone. If the phone does not function as intended, I will take returns within 10 days of buyer's receipt of this item. The phone must be returned, safely wrapped and insured, in the same condition as received (it is marked with invisible ink to identify it). There is one miniscule flaw on one corner (pictured).
