Vintage Sterling Silver 925 Black Onyx Southwest Art Deco Earrings

Incredible handmade sterling silver and onyx pierced earrings from the 1970s. These are stamped 925 and marked by the artist. The geometric design is either southwestern or art deco, depending on your interpretation of the style. The center is black onyx. The earrings have been cleaned and sanitized. They measure 1/2 inch and dangle from the silver wire back. The earrings are unique; one has a very small crescent-shaped onyx area above the round center, the other does not. Due to the small size of the earrings, this discrepancy is not very noticeable and clearly occurred in the manufacturing process. Have not been able to find an earrings that match this style, so they are truly one of a kind and carefully fashioned by hand; both earrings bear the artist's mark, which resembles two script lower-case Ls with a line through them.
