Vintage Atomic Salt and Pepper Shakers - Lot of Two Pairs, Red and Brown

These fun atomic rocket salt and pepper shakers will make a great kitschy addition to any eclectic or MCM kitchen. The red set is about 2 1/2 inches tall and 1 inch across at the base, and the coral set is nearly 3 inches tall and 1 inch across at the base. The tan, or coral, or brownish pink (depending on your point of view and color sense) pair is marked and identifiable as vintage Ball Point salt and pepper shakers. They are made of plastic and have the distinctive lucite tip and have a unique atomic or art deco design.

These space-age craze items date back to 1950s and the coral pair were manufactured by V.A Kasin of Los Angeles CA. The red set is unmarked but were likely made by Kasin Molded Products ("Atomic Age Rocket"). Atomic kitsch salt and pepper shakers are a popular item for collectors of vintage kitchenware. The shakers are in good used condition. They have been cleaned on the outside. The insides have not been cleaned, and doing so might make them appear clearer.
