This is a hardcover pop-up (paper art) book, famous for its intricate, kinetic paper sculptures. Robert Sabuda is known for using vibrant, solid-colored backgrounds combined with exquisite white paper cut-outs. This copy is a first edition, published by Little Simon in 1996. The one flaw is a tiny dog-ear on the partridge's wing tip (pictured). It is in overall good used condition. The binding is secure and all of the paper art functions as it should. There are no misfolds, stray marks, or tears. In addition to the white pop-up paper sculptures, here is an acetate snow globe for the 7th day and mirrored panels on the 12th day. The cover (front and back) have no significant signs of wear. Please see all the photos for an appreciation of the condition of the book. The book measures 8 inches wide by 8 1/4 inches tall.
