Holland Mold Pottery 1970s Cabbage Leaf Matte Finish Sugar and Creamer Set

This cabbage leaf creamer and sugar bowl--with its intact lid--was made in the 1970s. Holland Mold created the design and the artist who made the set signed it (KB or NB). The overlapping cabbage-leaf relief is reminiscent of the arts and crafts movement, as well as early McCoy pottery of the Woodland line. The glaze is a matte glaze with some bronze highlights. Inside, both pieces are a warm cream color. There are very minor imperfections that occurred during manufacture or glazing, but no chips or cracks. This unusual set would make a nice addition to a kitchen ceramic or pottery collection. The pitcher is 4 3/4 inches tall and has some very indistinct scratches inside. The sugar bowl is 4 1/2 high and the inside is not blemished. The inside rim of the lid has a few small marks or dots. These are vintage items and as such may show signs of use or age.
