Vintage Hoenig of California Turquoise Appetizer or Relish Bowls - Set of 4

These lovely light teal or turquoise shallow bowls were made in the 1950s or 60s. They are marked Hoenig CA 734 USA. They were designed by Lou Hoenig and were sold as part of a larger set for entertaining and serving appetizers or snacks as part of the 734 California pottery line. Each apple-shaped bowl is slightly different because these were made from preset molds and then hand glazed and fired; the glaze on each is shiny and there are no chips or cracks. The bowls are about 5 3/4 inches tall and nearly 6 inches across. Add these fun to your vintage kitchen for a bright spot of color.
