This adorable and realistic salamander brooch is a vivid green enamel with gold accents and green crystal eyes. It was made by Jane Casini in the 1980s and is new old stock (never worn); it has its original card with black velvet and gold lettering. The brooch is 2 1/4 inches long and nearly 2 inches wide. The clasp works as it should. Please see all the photographs for an appreciation of this beautifully made piece. The enamel is covered with a glossy finish, making the salamander appear wet. It has an appealing expression. This is a unique piece and may start more than a few conversations. Would make a great gift.
