Vintage 80s Party MCM Postmodern Kitsch Mall Cherry Earrings with Comfort Clip-On Backs

These are NOS (new old stock) vintage dangle earrings by MAM' Designs, Dallas, Texas. Mary Ann Mulhern (MAM) was an artisan jewelry maker that handcrafted pieces from the 1980s until 2016, and these cherry-themed earrings are made in a novelty or "fruit" style. They have a glossy black round bases, glass and polymer leaves, glass beaded stems, and bright red cherry discs with red rhinestones. The back of the earring is interesting. It is a clip backed by cork for greater comfort. Many MAM' earrings were originally crafted using fine watercolor paper, which was then finished with an acrylic polymer to create a glossy, protective, and very lightweight finish. These vintage items are considered collectible. This unworn set comes with their original earring hanger, which is black velvet with gold lettering. This fruity fun set really screams 1980s!
