Metropolitan Museum of Art Vintage Rhinestone Brooch

This lovely brooch is marked Metropolitan Museum of Art. It is a quality reproduction (probably made by CINER) that is most likely based on a button or shoe ornament from the Victorian era; these pieces were commissioned to celebrate the 125-year anniversary of the museum. It measures 1 1/4 inches across and has a clasp that spins and locks as it should. There are no flaws and pictures do not do justice to the fire of the rhinestones.
