Vintage Mid Century Handpainted Yellow Celluloid Brooch Made in Japan

This large brooch has a working clasp and stamped "Japan" on the back. The pin is made of translucent yellow celluloid with red handpainted accents and a brightly colored center. It has imperfections typical of handmade items of the period. It was made sometime in the 40s to the 60s. This is a fun piece to add to any collection and is wearable. It is 3 1/2 inches across.
