Vintage Sears Roebuck Merry Mushrooms Cookie Jar or Canister with Lid

This large ceramic Merry Mushrooms cookie jar or canister was made by Sears Roebuck in the 1970s. Highly prized for their timeless kitschy appeal, these pieces brighten any kitchen space. This container stands nearly 10 inches tall and the base diameter is close to 6 inches. Each piece was handpainted and shows variation and even small mistakes. This one has a few tiny spots of errant paint, and the largest mushroom has two very small dots of unpainted glazed ceramic (original when made). The canister and lid have no chips or cracks.
