This unique mid century Daystrom bar stool has some significant damage as noted in photos, which is reflected in the reasonable price. The chrome on the base, feet, and supports shows rust and corrosion and the rivets have some pitting, as shown. There is a lighter area (scuff) on the backrest, as shown. The "plus" metal disc is missing from one arm, as shown. All of the honey-tan vinyl is intact and retains cood color and vibrancy. The stool is structurally sound and sturdy. The 1970s (marked Daystrom) stool swivels and with some polishing and rust removal could certainly improve. The disc for the arm could be replaced or made from 3-D printing or other method.
